I guess this one just slipped past inspection. I found out they were releasing a new awning called the batwing and that has lead us to where we are now. Quite disappointed as i have many rhino rack products which are of high quality. Reviewed in the united states on december 11 2018 unfortunately my batwing came with minor tears on the exterior case may have been due to shipping.

Hiding in your tent every time you want a reprieve from the sun wind or rain while camping can get old quick which is why retractable awnings like the rhino rack batwing have become popular. My son purchased a rhino batwing awning for around 750. The rhino rack batwing awning is a 270 degree awning similar to the darche eclipse and oztent foxwing and offers 11 sqm of cover similar to its competitors.

The batwing awning provides 270 degrees of shade and 118 sq ft coverage. As well as 2 torn velcro straps at the seams which are used to stow retain the awning. Unfortunately my batwing came with minor tears on the exterior case may have been due to shipping. The batwing awning arrived in a long box 100 to be exact.

The rhino rack batwing roof rack awning is perfect for any adventure. This awning has been rated to upf of 50 meaning its perfect for those sunny days at the beach or in the bush. We ve kept the dimensions of our new awnings the same as our older generation awnings so that our range of awning accessories are still compatible. Luckily it come with a spare so was able to repair it disappointed but at least repairable.
